NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE

Structured Cabling

A reliable network starts with a solid foundation. Structured cabling is the backbone of your IT infrastructure, often lasting up to 25 years, far exceeding the lifecycle of most network hardware. That’s why it’s essential your cabling is installed and tested to the highest industry standards.

Our experienced design team understands the importance of future-ready cabling systems. All our engineers are system-accredited, DBS-checked, and certified through the latest CSCS Health & Safety courses, ensuring every installation meets both technical and regulatory requirements.

Fibre Optic Cabling

Fibre optic cabling offers high-speed, high-capacity connectivity,  but with a wide range of cable types, connectors, and configurations, it can be complex to navigate. Whether you require single-mode, multi-mode, loose tube, or tight-buffered solutions, our fibre specialists have the knowledge and hands-on experience to deliver a system that matches your exact needs.

From consultation to installation, we ensure your fibre network is built for performance and reliability.

Cabinet Upgrades & Relocations

When a network cabinet becomes overcrowded or is no longer in the ideal location, a professional upgrade or relocation may be necessary. Our team begins by conducting a detailed audit of your existing cabinet setup. From there, we handle the full process: decommissioning, extending or upgrading copper and fibre links, installing a new cabinet if needed, and re-installing hardware.   All cables are neatly re-terminated, re-patched, and thoroughly tested, ensuring a clean, functional, and future-proof setup.

Site Audits & Surveys

Network Cabinets: We perform comprehensive audits of hardware and data patch panels, producing a detailed equipment schedule and cabinet layout diagrams to aid documentation and future upgrades.

Data Outlets: Outlet locations are mapped onto site plans, with a full report provided. Where needed, outlets can be tested using a Fluke cable scanner to verify the quality of cabling, terminations, and performance.

Fibre Distribution & Testing: We identify and document fibre cabling and patch panels, mapping them to a distribution schedule and site diagram. Where required, OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) testing can be carried out to verify fibre type, length, and termination quality.
